Ryan Hanley has signed up for the Engineers Ireland CPD programme. It is a strategy for success; the planned acquisition of knowledge, experience and skills and the development of the personal qualities necessary for the execution of professional and technical duties throughout an engineer’s professional life. It encompasses both technical and non-technical matters.
The CPD scheme is designed to support lifelong learning, by stimulating and recognising good organisational practice in the areas of professional development for engineers and technical staff.
Ryan Hanley has recently been awarded the CPD Accredited Employer standard by Engineers Ireland.
The certificate has been awarded in recognition of the company’s continuing professional development strategy which demonstrates that employee professional development is a vital tool in achieving commercial and technical objectives. The CPD strategy adopted by Ryan Hanley showcases the importance of reflective learning and ways in which learning and development enable its 130 staff to deliver its organisational objectives.

The Engineers Ireland CPD Accredited Employer Standard is a strategic framework which enables engineers and engineering employers to raise competence levels and deliver tangible business benefits by investing in engineers through continuing professional development.
Career development is always a priority at Ryan Hanley. As part of the training programme offered at Ryan Hanley, a mentoring scheme has been implemented. This scheme formalises the way in which Ryan Hanley Support their personnel to gain the skills, experience and knowledge necessary to further their careers. The mentoring scheme is aimed at personnel from graduate level to those preparing their application for the registered professional title of Chartered Engineer.
Ryan Hanley offers a Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programme which we call Lunch n’ Learn. This is an event which takes place over lunchtime. A topic of interest will be delivered to the staff either by internal staff or outside individuals.
