Ryan Hanley has a wide range of structural engineering expertise and experience. This covers all forms of structures including bridges, buildings and civil engineering structures.
The firm has an enviable track record in the design and construction of new bridges. More recently, our expertise has expanded to include a very large number of bridge inspections, assessments and rehabilitation contracts, covering concrete, steel and masonry bridge forms of construction.
With the increasing trend towards alternative modes of transport the firm has built a solid reputation on the design of footbridges for pedestrian and cycle use. Ryan Hanley has designed some novel solutions where such structures are added to existing road bridges or other structures.
The structural design of buildings forms an increasing part of the firm’s workload. This includes institutional, commercial, retail, office, recreational and residential type developments using pre-cast and in-situ concrete, structural steelwork, masonry and structural timber.
The structural design of civil engineering structures such as water towers, reservoirs, and tanks is an integral part of Ryan Hanley’s core business.
